Derrick Lopez is the Associate Superintendent for Instructional Services and School Performance for Southfield Public Schools in Detroit, MI. Before moving to Michigan, Derrick was the president and CEO of Homewood Children’s Village, a Pittsburgh-based organization that uses a systems approach to serve children and families in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood.
